Revelry Box was a concept that came about many years ago. I invented it for my friends who basically just like to have a good time. At first they were sceptical, I wanted them to dress in costume and go out into public? But over the years it became a night out we looked forward to on regular occasions. I love to surprise them with the next theme or the next crazy game concept. And while leading up to the evening usually came with some nervous chatter, they loved tearing into the boxes to see what was next.
Each of the games was created with someone I know in mind. I got a great kick out of imagining a certain friend dressed in something outrageous, or completing some new challenge. Now I would like to share the fun we have created with you.
I am tremendously lucky to be blessed with wonderful girlfriends. You all know who you are. But for everyone else, they are a diverse group of beautiful women, they come in all shapes and sizes, all ages, and personalities range from quiet to outrageous. Every costume and every challenge was created with these 'real' women in mind. Women who know how to have a laugh with out being laughed at, women who know that the most important thing is friendship.
I want to thank all of my girls for being the guinea pigs for countless new concepts. And to my costume department who worked tirelessly creating new costume ideas when I couldn't thread a needle. Thank you all for inspiring me every day and for giving me the courage and support to take our ideas to the public. I only hope they enjoy it as much as we do.
